Hello! I'm Kori Smith.
Since I was a young girl, I have always been drawn to things that had a vintage feel to them. Cars, furniture, music, movies, etc. As I got older and began searching for my style, I fell in love with classic design.
Because I am drawn decades before my time, I pull inspiration from the classic and retro eras, applying those elements in a way that work with more modern times.
My journey to become a graphic design began with a rough start. I had no previous knowledge of the software or application of design. Unlike my classmates, I did not take art classes or have any skills in the fine arts. In the two years I attended school, I went from being the weakest in my class to someone my peers came to for advice.
One of my greatest strengths as a designer is being able to see the bigger picture in projects I work on. I can take a project from fruition to completion and have a knack for seeing things others may miss. I try to look at every new project as an opportunity to present a brand, idea, or design style in a new way.
